About the Author
I currently live in the Pacific Northwest, a place where the trees are forever green and the water is tainted with sarcasm. I am a daughter, granddaughter, cousin, and sister - not necessarily in that order. I have a tendency to overanalyze and over-emphasize. For example, why am I writing this? Who is going to read it? Why would anyone want to read it? See, I’m doing it now.
If you'd like to know more about me submit a question! Maybe, just maybe it will magically appear in this blurb with an answer.

What does Obama want to fix?
Every time I hear Obama speak, he says that he is in favor of fix, but he never says what he wants to fix or how he wants to fix it.
Though the word might have been “change,” not “fix.”

Adam,
I especially love the quote by Goethe because I believe Obama keeps trying to unite people of all backgrounds under the banner of “change” when in effect he cannot lobby for all people because all people have different needs from their government. At some point he is going to be required to make a decision which harms a group of people. That’s how American government works. You give tax cuts to the poor, you anger the rich. You give immigration rights to Latinos and you anger southern whites. The fact is, not all people will be happy with the decisions he will have to make as President. He can’t unite us all because we’re all diverse people with diverse interests.
