Gamers Anonymous

Why is this page titled, “Gamers Anonymous”? Good question! Quite simply, if there was any self-help group I could possibly benefit from attending, it would be one which focused on discouraging my ever-growing addiction to video games. I’m not going to debate the merits of the “games encourage inactivity and promote violence” argument here because this is a page of gaming worship. That’s right, “worship.” Which logically makes this page the exact opposite of what the heading suggests, thus making me a hypocrite.

Games I Own:This list was compiled through my profile on GameSpot. The scores listed at the right are those given by the GameSpot staff and are rated 1-10 (10 being great and 1 being abysmal). Clicking on a game’s link will transport you to that game’s page on GameSpot. By and large my game collection was purchased off of eBay for less than half of its retail value. I have some game duds because I am unwilling to sell them to Gamestop (note, that’s not GameSpot) for fifty cents a piece. But more often than not, I find my collection consists of some great games that I enjoy over and over again.
