I currently live in the Pacific Northwest, a place where the trees are forever green and the water is tainted with sarcasm. I am a daughter, granddaughter, cousin, and sister - not necessarily in that order. I have a tendency to overanalyze and over-emphasize. For example, why am I writing this? Who is going to read it? Why would anyone want to read it? See, I’m doing it now. If you'd like to know more about me submit a question! Maybe, just maybe it will magically appear in this blurb with an answer.

If… : Hypothetical Questions

If you were to be trapped in a video game for all eternity which video game environment would you prefer to live in and why?

My response: I suppose the answer to this question depends largely on whether or not I have all ready beaten the game, or I am aimlessly wondering about while the protagonist continues to thrive and thwart my every move. If the evil doer is dead, I’d probably head for San Andreas. After all, this environment is so similar to the world I currently live in that adaptation to the environment would be minimal. I could eat at Burger Shot, Cluckin’ Bell, or The Well Stacked Pizza Company. I could shop at Zip (the GAP equivalent) and take flying lessons at the local airports. This answer might seem boring, unadventurous and the like, but I have to reason that with my current skills and abilities I wouldn’t want to be thrown into a strikingly different world. I have absolutely no experience with a sword, bow and arrow, or other similar weapons – otherwise I’d head on over to Cyrodil (Oblivion) and sit on top one of the northernmost mountains and look out over the land. If wielding weapons within the virtual world is as simple as clicking buttons and using weapons onscreen in the real world, then I am destined for an adventure with Link in The Legend of Zelda.

Which environment would you want to live in?

  1. Myst island hand down. It would be both relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. I’d be able to work on the space ship puzzle without constant interruptions as well, haha.

Considering the possibility of linking books and journals, I have a feeling that my inner-explorer would be sufficiently indulged as well.

  2. That’s a hard one. I’d probably choose to be in Guitar Hero 3 or Rock Band, playing the base.. but it could be tiresome, after a while…
